what bales need an adjustment kit?
Bales measuring smaller than 5'x5' (or a nontraditional setup such as a half-eaten round bale, or a stack of smaller bales) can benefit from an adjustment kit for improved fit. however, it is not necessary and you can always try it without one first.
The benefits to not having a kit are that airflow through the mesh panels may be improved with a loose fit. However, the Bale Blanket will touch or even pool on the ground, collecting water and dirt, and preventing airflow coming to the bale up from the bottom.

step 1
attach the heavy-duty tarp clips to all four corners of the Bale Blanket, near the upper mesh corner.

hook the the rachet ropes into the clips horizontally and tighten until the desired lift has occurred.

if desired, attach a third rachet rope over the top of the bale vertically to connect the two horizontal ropes, for additional lift of the sides.

pull up on the top of the tarp to create air channels on top of the bale.
